COOKIES POLICY

Welcome to the Cookies Policy of the website of WINDROSE INTERNACIONAL SAILING, S,L, with NIF / CIF B07955842, where we will explain in a clear and simple language all the necessary issues so that you can have control over them based on your personal decisions.

WHAT ARE COOKIES AND WHY DO WE USE THEM?

A cookie is a small information file that is stored on your computer, smartphone, or tablet each time you visit our website. In principle, a cookie is harmless: it does not contain viruses, trojans, worms, etc. that can damage your device, but it does have an impact on your right to the protection of your personal data, as it collects certain information about you (browsing habits, identity, preferences, etc.).

Therefore, based on the provisions of the applicable regulations (LSSI and current personal data protection regulations), the activation of certain types of cookies will require your prior authorization. By taking a simple and quick step such as checking a box in our COOKIES SETTINGS section, you can give your authorization for the activation of the cookies you want: take control and enjoy personalized browsing on our website.

Before that, we will provide you with some additional information that will help you make better decisions in this regard:

Cookies can be of various types depending on their purpose:

Technical cookies are necessary for our website to function, they do not require your authorization, and they are the only ones activated by default.

The rest of the cookies can be used to improve our website, personalize it based on your preferences, or show you advertising tailored to your searches, tastes, and personal interests. All of them are deactivated by default, and your prior authorization is required for their activation, which you can give by simply checking a box in our COOKIES SETTINGS section.

Some cookies are ours (we will call them first-party cookies) and others belong to external companies that provide services for our website (we will call them third-party cookies: an example could be cookies from external providers such as Google). In this regard, it is important for you to know that some of these external providers may be located outside of Spain.

Globally, not all countries have the same level of data protection, and some countries are safer than others (for example, the European Union is a safe environment for your data). Our policy is to rely on trustworthy providers who, regardless of whether they are located within or outside the European Union, have adopted adequate guarantees for the protection of your personal information. However, in the section called "WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES ARE CURRENTLY USED ON OUR WEBSITE?" you can consult the different privacy and data protection policies of each of the mentioned external providers to make an informed decision about the activation or deactivation of third-party cookies used on our website.

Finally, please note that, depending on the length of time they remain active, cookies can be of two types:

Session cookies: they expire automatically when you end the session on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. They are usually used to retain the necessary information while providing a service to you on a single occasion.

Persistent cookies: they are stored on your computer, smartphone, or tablet for a specific period, which can vary from a few minutes to several years.

WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES CAN WE USE ON OUR WEBSITE?

Technical Cookies:

Technical cookies are strictly necessary for our website to function and for you to navigate through it. This type of cookies allows us, for example, to identify you, grant you access to certain restricted parts of the website if necessary, or remember different options or services already selected by you, such as your privacy preferences. Therefore, they are activated by default and do not require your authorization in this regard.

Through your browser settings, you can block or be alerted about the presence of this type of cookies, although such blocking may affect the proper functioning of the various features of our website.

Analytics Cookies:

Analytics cookies allow us to study the navigation of users on our website in general (for example, which sections of the page are the most visited, which services are used the most and if they work correctly, etc.).

Based on statistical information about navigation on our website, we can improve both the functioning of the website itself and the different services it offers. Therefore, these cookies do not have an advertising purpose, but only serve to make our website work better, adapting to our users in general. Therefore, this type of cookies does not have an advertising purpose. By activating them, you will improve the functionality of the website (for example, by adapting it to your type of browser) and its customization based on your preferences (for example, presenting information in the language you have chosen on previous occasions), which will contribute to the ease of use and convenience of our website during your navigation.

You can enable or disable these cookies by checking the corresponding box, as they are deactivated by default.

Advertising Cookies:

Advertising cookies allow us to manage the advertising spaces included on our website based on criteria such as the content displayed or the frequency with which the ads are shown.

For example, if you have been shown the same ad several times on our website and you have not shown personal interest by clicking on it, it will not appear again. Behavioral Advertising Cookies:

Behavioral advertising cookies allow us to obtain information based on the observation of your browsing habits and behaviors on the web, in order to show you advertising content that better suits your personal tastes and interests.

To put it in a very simple way, we will give you a fictional example: if your recent web searches have been related to suspense literature, we will show you advertising for suspense books.

FAQ

Based on your needs and availability, we will help you find the boat that best suits your request. Please contact us via email, phone, or visit our office located in Marina Botafoch, and we will guide you in choosing your charter boat.

Boat rentals in Ibiza and Formentera are highly demanded services. To ensure the availability of the best vessels and crews, it is recommended to book as soon as you know the dates that work for you. Booking well in advance allows us to secure reservations at the finest restaurants in Ibiza and Formentera or customize your charter day to the fullest.

The inclusions may vary depending on the type of vessel, but generally include:

  • Mooring at the home port
  • Captain
  • Towels
  • Complimentary refreshments
  • Cleaning

The following are not included in the price:

  • Fuel consumption
  • Mooring at other ports
  • Crew gratuities

The fuel cost is calculated based on the hours of navigation. Usually, a fuel deposit of 2 hours' worth is required in advance. If more fuel is consumed, the additional cost will need to be paid. If less fuel is used, the corresponding refund will be provided at the end of the charter.

Yes, in general, children are allowed on all boats. We recommend informing us about the ages of the minors as soon as possible so that we can recommend the most suitable boat for their safety.

You can bring food and drinks on board, arrange catering with us, or let us book a restaurant for you.

Most boats are available from 10:00 am, and they must return to the home port before 7:00 pm. If you wish to enjoy the sunset, please consult with us about the possibilities and conditions.

Yes, but it will depend on the type of vessel and the number of people who wish to spend the night on board. Boats that allow overnight stays are typically over 15 meters long and may have an additional cost per night. When a client wants to stay overnight, we ask for a 30% advance provisioning allowance (APA) of the charter fee. This procedure is standard for renting superyachts and also applies to smaller boats. The APA is intended to cover all costs related to fuel, food, mooring, or other expenses not included in the boat's fee. At the end of the charter, the expenses will be balanced. If the balance is negative, you will need to pay the remaining amount, and if it is positive, the remaining APA amount will be refunded.

Personal identification: Generally, a valid official identification, such as a passport or identification card, will be required to verify your identity. List of passengers boarding: Names and identifications of the people on board. Boat rental contract.

General guidelines are as follows:

Customer cancellation: If you decide to cancel the boat rental, you may be subject to a cancellation fee. The amount of this fee depends on how far in advance you make the cancellation. Typically, the closer to the rental start date, the higher the cancellation fee.

Cancellation due to adverse weather conditions: If the weather conditions are unfavorable and it's unsafe to sail, the cancellation may be done without a penalty. This usually happens in cases of weather alerts or when maritime conditions are unsuitable for navigation.

Cancellation by the rental company: In some cases, the rental company may cancel the contract due to unforeseen circumstances, such as technical problems with the boat or events beyond their control. In such situations, you may be eligible for a refund or the option to reschedule the rental for an alternative date.
